Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 June 2026
This is a plain-language template provided for convenience and is not legal advice. Replace the [BRACKETED] placeholders and confirm it reflects your actual data practices and obligations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) with a qualified lawyer.
1. Who we are
fyrvo is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] (“we”, “us”). For privacy questions, contact [CONTACT EMAIL]. If required, our data-protection contact is [DPO / CONTACT].
2. Information we collect
- Account data from your sign-in provider (Google): your name, email address, profile photo, and a unique user ID.
- Profile data you provide: username, body weight (optional), and settings.
- Workout data you create: sessions, sets, reps, routines, notes, personal records, and — for outdoor activities — GPS routes, pace, elevation, and heart-rate data from connected sensors or health platforms.
- Social data: who you follow, likes, and comments.
- Technical data: basic logs needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use your information
We use your information to: provide and sync the Service across your devices; compute progress, stats, and personal records; power the social feed and public profiles according to your visibility settings; secure the Service; and communicate with you about the Service.
4. What is public
Your profile and any workout you mark public can be viewed by anyone, including logged-out visitors, and may be indexed by search engines. Workouts marked followers are visible to people who follow you; private workouts are visible only to you. Outdoor GPS routes you share are privacy-trimmed (start/end points are clipped) but you should still avoid sharing routes that reveal sensitive locations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data with service providers who help us run fyrvo, including [Google Firebase Authentication] for sign-in, [MongoDB Atlas] for storage, and [Google Cloud Run] for hosting. These providers process data under their own terms and only as needed to provide their service. We may disclose information if required by law.
6. Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete individual workouts at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting [CONTACT EMAIL]. Some data may persist in backups for a limited period and in third-party caches for public/shared content.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact [CONTACT EMAIL]. You can also revoke fyrvo’s access from your Google account settings.
8. Children
fyrvo is not directed to children under [MINIMUM AGE], and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own, including [COUNTRIES / REGIONS, e.g. the United States]. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be announced through the Service. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version.
11. Contact
